Every property is assessed before we prepare your quotation. Where contents have genuine resale value, that value can be used to offset the cost of labour, transport and disposal. In some cases, the value of the contents can cover the entire cost of the clearance.
Where the value only covers part of the work, it is taken into account when calculating your quotation. If there is little or no resale value, we simply provide a clear fixed price for completing the clearance.
Where a property contains enough resaleable items to cover the cost of carrying out the clearance, we may be able to complete the work with no charge to the customer.
We assess this before the quotation is agreed, so you know exactly where you stand from the outset.
Some properties contain items with useful resale value, but not enough to cover the complete cost of the clearance. In these cases, we take that value into account and reduce the quotation accordingly.
Where most of the contents have little resale value and the clearance involves significant labour, transport or licensed disposal, we provide a clear fixed quotation for completing the work.
Suitable items are still separated for reuse, charity or recycling wherever practical.
Once the contents have been removed, we can also provide an additional cleaning service to help leave the property ready for sale, letting, handover or the next stage of the process.
This can be added to your house clearance quotation where required, giving you one team to handle the property from clearance through to final clean.
